From quiet to chaos

Not long ago, I sat outside enjoying a Heinekin overlooking the beautiful Kentucky landscape. Now I find myself back into the thick of life. And I have to say - I don't like it. Yesterday I spent the better part of my afternoon trying to fax a document to some remote village in Canada. I threw a tantrum at my office in front of a brand new agent. (I didn't realize he was there - or even worked at Picket Fence actually). And yelled "i will kill you" to a garbage man b/c he stopped right in front of me without warning. I made the lamest pancakes for dinner b/c A. I had no other plan and B. they were lame b/c I have lost my favorite cookbook. I have a long list of things that were to be accomplished by day's end and NADA, NOTHING, got done!

And, I have now washed the same load of laundry 3 times b/c I wash it, forget to take it out of the washer, it grows stinky and I must REwash it. Very efficient.

On good notes...I just finished Testimony by Anita Shreeve - one of my faves...very good quicky read.

AND we are going to see Mary Poppins tomorrow in the city!! Can't wait. Heard it's just as fab as Wicked.

And Peter just reminded me - "Fourth July coming to our house?".
