Well - I have been considering blogging for a while...well not blogging but actually just writing. Mostly b/c a million thoughts cross my mind each day from how to remodel my home to why are Jon and Kate getting divorced to why it is I feel SO tired and irritable all of the time. So, here I am. My blogging name of "allegedly clever" comes from that my Dad said the funniest thing once. He had a new neighbor and she drove a sheriff's car. I asked about her and he said "allegedly she's a police officer". Which I thought was so funny - the alleged part...meaning the car alone didn't convince him. So I throw around "allegedly" all of the time now...can't claim it as my own though.
My biggest reason to blog is to see if there are people out there who are thinking what I am thinking....not that people care what I have to say but maybe we care more when we think the same things..a connectedness that we all need. Am I am the only one who can barely stand elderly drivers - even though I know on a cerebral level that old people have to drive. I get that...Am I the only out there who WANTS to be organic, healthy, physically fit, go to church, read good books - only to fall short continuously. Is there anyone out there who, even at age 41, seems to looking for REASONS, purpose, joy and happiness. My money is that there is..
Also - for this Realtor mom...I just wanted to say that houses do sell - they ARE selling...the amount of patience required by both sellers and realtors is abundant. The other thing I want to say on this topic is....nobody NEEDS granite and wallpaper and paint doesn't equal "so much work"....and MOST of us lived or still lives with a 1 car gaerage......okay- I feel better after getting that off my chest...
